The  Ancient Kano City Walls    were ancient  defensive walls  built to protect the inhabitants of the ancient city of Kano.  Built in the 11th and 12th centuries    and completed in the middle of the 14th century. The Ancient Kano City Walls were described as "'the most impressive monument in West Africa. they are also  among of the most interesting examples of ancient fortifications in Africa. Because of the earthen building materials used and the lack of a conservation movement until very recently, the walls of Kano are not nearly as intact as most of the other examples on this list. The Blue Mosque is a historic mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. The mosque is known as the Blue Mosque because of blue tiles surrounding the walls of interior design. Mole National Park is located  in northwest Ghana  and it is the largest  most frequently visited  wildlife refuge in Ghana. It is  situated in the heart of the pristine Guinea Savannah Woodland ecosystem with low hills and escarpments.  This area of Ghana receives over 1000 mm per year of  rainfall . A long-term study has been done on Mole National Park to understand the impact of human hunters on the animals in the preserve.  The park's lands were set aside as a wildlife refuge in 1958. In 1971 the small human population of the area was relocated and the lands were designated a national park. The Masjid Dimaukom also known as Pink Mosque is a mosque in Datu Saudi Ampatuan , Maguindanao , the Philippines. It was completed in 2014. The mosque was painted pink to symbolize peace and love and was built by Christian workmen to symbolize unity and inter-faith brotherhood.
